The schedule of the ICC Men's ODI World Cup has been released. Rohit Sharma will lead the Indian cricket team against Australia in Chennai on 8th of October. The Indian cricket team will face Pakistan on 15 October in Ahmedabad. The tournament begins on the 5th of October in Ahmedabad with a match featuring England, the defending champions, and New Zealand as runners-up from the final for 2019. India and Pakistan will face off at the Narendra Modi Stadium , Ahmedabad on 15th October. It will be the third time in a row these two teams have faced each other at an ICC event in October. The two teams have previously faced each other in the ICC T20 World Cups 2021 (UAE), and ICC T20 World Cups 2022 (Australia) .
